Qixi Festival ：Chinese Valentines day

August 19 is China’s Qixi Festival.This special day has a legend telling a romantic story full of love and bitter sadness in which a man fell in love with a Fairy girl and this Fairy girl loved him too . But they couldn’t live together . He came from human's land and she c ame from fairyland. There was so large a gap，the Milky Way，between these two lands that no one could build a bridge for these two poor lovers . And what these two poor lovers could do is that they looked at each other every day and night across the Milky Way with deep love in hearts . One day a beautiful pie d magpie was touched by their deep love . She and her pied magpie friends built a bridge over the Milky Way by flyi ng over i t to help the man meet the Fairy girl . This day is China’s Qi xi festi val.
