Having the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26 every year，Yiwu Administration for Industry and Commerce and relevant departments have carried out the “IPR Protection Week” citywide from April 20 to 26，2007 .
With the theme of “ protecting intellectual property right，and promoting innovation development”，this year’s IPR Protection Week emphasizes on relevant laws and regulations，principled standpoint and accomplishments in Yiwu，self-owned
brand establishment and achievements of enterprises in Yiwu. In the meanwhile the “12312” IPR protection complaint service center and the IPR protection of Olympic Game will also be the key points .
According to the plan some activities will be successively held by some relevant departments in that week such as the contest for IPR knowledge，giveaway show and IPR training . And on April 26 a large consultation activity will be held to serve people with their consultants and complaints on the square of the first phase of Yiwu I nternational Trade City .
