It is learned that at present there are 17 Yiwu toy enterprises that have earned 3C (China Compulsory Certification) certificate and 41 toy enterprises are applying for it .
According to the relevant regulations of the National Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervisi on and the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China，3C policy was carried out to manage six categories of toy products on March 1，2006，including baby carriers，electric toys，plastic toys，shooting toys，moppets and metal toys . And from June 1，2007，no toys of the above types can be turned out from a factory，sold，imported or even used in any business activities，if the producers have not obtained the 3C certificate issued by an appointed organization or have not had the authentication signs properly marked on the toys . The compulsory certification of toy products began from the March of 2006，with June 1，2007 as its dead line . That is，from June 1，the children toy products bearing no 3C signs can be neither circulated in the market nor produced in the factory . Severe legal punishment based on the relevant regulations will always be ready for any kind of violations.
