Exhibition area for imported goods to be opened up in 2007 Guangzhou Fair

An exhibition area for imported goods will be introduced to China Import&Export Fair( Guangzhou Fair) this year. according to Zhejiang Foreign Trade&Economic Cooperation Bureau，the 101st Guangzhou Fair to be held on April 15th will open up an exhibition area for imported goods for the first time through its history . Zhejiang enterprises intending to import goods can register from now on .
It’s known that Guangzhou Fair，which is considered the most important fai r in China，is the most important way for domestic enterprises to obtain orders from foreign buyers . The introduction of imported goods exhibition area aims to help balance import and export . An offi cial of Yiwu Foreign Trade&Economic Cooperation Bureau said that domestic purchasers will receive the invitation from Guangzhou Fair in the form of ‘purchasing group’. And the purchasers are divided into three categories ：entry-free purchasers，entry-charged purchasers and entry-charged purchasing agencies. The number of purchasers is allotted to the 8 areas respectively in Zhejiang Province. From now on，import dealers and enterprises who need imported goods can apply for admittance . It's learned that nine zones divided by categories of goods will be opened up . They are mechanic equipment，electronic information and home electric appliances，miniature vehicles and accessories，hardware&tools，
building&construction products and kitchen&bathroom ware，daily used consumption，decoration and gifts，jewelry，food and agricultural products.
